New opportunities for media enabled learning

This page was created by participants at the ‘Media Enhanced Learning Special Interest Group' Conference, Queens University Belfast. Following a short presentation exploring potential relationships between new media and the idea of life-wide education, participants worked in small groups to create an educational design that utilised one or more forms of new media and then pitched their ideas to each other. The pitches were captured on video, uploaded to YouTube and then embedded in this wiki.

Within the context of life-wide education, ‘how can we create designs that will utilise the potential of new media to engage learners individually and collaboratively, and contribute to the development of their media literacy skills and capabilities?’
